after back from tw so many days. after getting sick. after picking up my pace for work, im here to blog. about my trip to tw.
awwww. i miss it already.
the weather there is PERFECT. omg. the shopping there is AMAZING(ly tired). omg. the food there is FANTASTIC(when we choose the correct one). the people there are WARM-HEARTED. oh my oh my. im gonna return there again. hehe. soon?
im gonna blog slowly. because i took 500+++ pics. close to 600. and yq took like 100++? my com is quite lag cuz of that. im lag too. so much edits to do. haha. i'm afraid that my photobucket cant take it too. so i'm uploading it day by day.
some days we took 100 pics per day. HAHA. the crazy wayang duo.
okie. here it is!!
First day - 12/5/08
wake up early to get ready. but ended up 赖床 and watch tv. haha. but i wasnt late! my daddy came to pick me up and then to pick yq up. and off we go to the airport. feels like we are quite early. but in actual fact, we are NOT. cuz our seats are lousy. first come first serve basis. we are seated IN BETWEEN in the middle row. meaning to my left is a stranger with her infant. which is kicking non stop at my dining table. thank god the infant(dunno male or female) fall asleep at the last 1/4 of the flight. had to wait for the mummy to get up and walk about then i can go to toilet. my bladder's bursting. AND the baby keep crying (DONT BRING INFANT TRAVEL CAN ANOT?) and then the mother cant handle. so she keep walking/standing about at the crowded space. and when we met tuburlence she didnt sit down and buckle up. i was so worried any thing happen to them leh. who knows? maybe im the only nurse in the plane????? and to yq right is another stranger. we are sandwiched between strangers. y cant we have window seats all to ourselves? T.T
in the airport, my dad call. and then he says please make full use of the FREE local call payphone there. so... ya... we use it. haha. i call my mum. yq... i forgotten whom she call.
lol. we still dont feel much excitement yet. 1 just finish project 1 still in working mode.
自恋一下in the toilet. hehe.
somehow, in the airport, must take pics of the travalator.
LOL. wanted to take yq n me. but she suddenly siam.
then, we waited and waited for time to pass and our flight to fly. in the plane we watched 27dresses. and then she watch she can move. and i watch 星光大道2.
finally, we are in taiwan!!
alot of ppl came to welcome us. haha. no la not us. but some buddhist group thingy. alot of monks(?) holding flowers and 花圈.
went to take freego飞狗 bus. budden they says the driver already knock off. so they only able to sent us to certain area. then we have to either take cab or take train to our hotel. no choice, we had to board it.
it's pink in color~ the driver is super kind. and he's so funny. his formal working pants is rolled up to his knees.
weather at airport, so-so.
us in the bus~ now, we get abit excited. haha.
bye bye airport.
of sights outside.
hehe. then, once again i saw building on fire. too fast to capture on cam though. remember my KL trip? we saw buidling on fire too. haha.
then, we had to get down at some elementary school which looked like haunted house. me and yq, the moment we alight, we shrieked. 'it's AIR CON temperature!!!!' so happy 的两个人.
the kind bus driver told us that, we have to ask whether the cab driver know how to go our hotel or not. if not, they will circle and circle to find the place and waste our money.
in the end, we got into a cab that the uncle says 'of course i know.' den he help us put luggage and all, he ask where is our hotel located. -.- sweats. (yq calls the cab driver 'uncle' and he nv respond. y? cuz they dunno wad is uncle. and we uncle and auntie -lize everyone in sg. haha)
saw a 槟榔摊 on the way. here in taipei not much 看头. 桃园 one is 火辣辣. LOL.
and finally we reach our airport. lady at the counter is very nice.
our creepy looking lift. haha.
they request us to put our room key with them when we go out. room 810.
went to roam about in ximending. thinking where to go and what to do. a little bit hungry... btw, the food in the plane is very the nice ah. lol. the cabin attendants are very pretty ah. lol. i made 1 frown though. haha. she thought i cant understand mandarin cause i 'huh' when she ask me what drink i want. i 'huh' cause my headphone's too loud. i cant hear what she says. so she frowned and asked me again in english. and i said 'coke please' and she frowned further cause she cant catch what i say. hur hur hur.
so, now in ximending, there is mister donut. which i crave for right? BUT the standard is sooo much lower now. im so disappointed in u, mister donut.. tsk tsk tsk. it left a weird taste in my mouth. my tongue became numb. T.T y u liddat???
walked to further ulu-er area. and found an auntie selling bbq things. we went to try it.
the person buying with us, most prob are from sg too. hehe. the auntie sooo cute la. i request for another plastic bag. she ask me to take myself. she said '在那。你自己拿哦。噢乖哦' so i took myself. what's up with the guai wor? lol.
the sauce is very the oishii. but inside the spring onion very bitter!! dunno y. ugh. i picked them out and eat the rest. haha. inside got 金针菇 too.
yq bought 2.
1 mushroom. 1 dunno wad. also veggie one.
she says it looked gore liddat. haha.
haha. she dun like me to take pics of her when she eating unglamly. HAHAHA.
then, we roam somemore. looking for places we can spend out last night in tw.
this is the place we really appreciate. really. really. will go everytime i go tw.
back to hotel and take a rest. and watch their wonderful 100+ channel tv. wa... taiwanese, u all are so xinfu man.
that's all for our first day.
due to the fact that, on the 2nd day, we took SUPER lots of photos. i shall take a (long) break first. hahahaha. okie. weiling's gonna kill me!!
